I dag fekk me vita at chilenarane har sendt kassane våre med flyet til Stanley og at Fram til Hurtigruten har fått dei ombord. I dei kassane er som sagt all mat, telt, nokre redningsvestar og diverse utstyr. Dette betyr mykje for oss, og spesielt for Sigrid som har jobba med maten i to mnd før me reiste. Fram er her mest truleg på torsdag og om alt går etter planen vert avreise med kajakkane torsdag eller seinast fredag.
I dag har me vore til fjells, bada i fjellvatn, hatt snøballkrig, møtt på aggressive pelsselar og besøkt Maiviken.I morgon er planen museumsbesøk, ein "guida" tur rundt på kvalkokeriet og vask av underbukser.
Our food is on its way with "Fram"!
Today, we received news that the Chileans have sent our crates by plane to Stanley and the Hurtigruten cruise ship "Fram" has taken the crates on board. The crates contain all our food, tents, some lifejackets and various equipment. This means a great deal to us, especially Sigrid, who had spent two months preparing our food before we left. The ship "Fram" will probably arrive here by Thursday and if all goes according to plan, we will start kayaking on Thursday or at the latest Friday.
Today, we've hiked in the mountains, bathed in a mountain lake, had a snowball fight, met agressive fur seals and visited Maiviken. Tomorrow, we plan to visit the museum; a "guided" trip around the whale refinery and wash our underwear.
