Så då var det ingen problem å få med seg nesten 250 kg bagasje, innsjekka heilt til Santiago. Knall bra! No er mi sprekkeferdige av spenning... Kjem bagasjen heilt fram? Får me med oss mat-og utstyrspakken vår som står i Santiago? Kor mange gonger kjem norlendingen til å banna før me forlet han i kajakkane? Korleis er været på andre sida av jordi? oioi.. Dette er spanande!

No ha mi hamstra kokesjokolade og fruktnøtt, og ei pitteliti conjakk flaska. Humøret er på topp og livet er bra!

Simen charmed the check-in lady...

... so it was no problem checking in almost 250 kg of luggage, all the way to Santiago. Brilliant! We're now bursting with anticipation... Will our kit make it all the way to our destination? Will we be able to pick up the crates of food and equipment that's still in Santiago? How many times will the Northern Norwegian swear before we leave him by kayak? What's the weather like at the other end of the world? Uhuh... this is going to be exciting!

We've now also hoarded some cooking chocolate and fruit and nut bars, and a tiny bottle of cognac. The  mood couldn't be better, life is good!
