Pakking og teambuilding.

I går hadde vi et veldig effektivt, og verdifullt pakkemøte hos Simen. Stua ble gjort om til den reineste sportsbutikken med alt vi skal ha med på turen, Tormod fløy inn fra Bergen, Sigrid kom med toget kvelden før, Matias kom fra Oslo, Dag Marius skulle bare levere sønnen sin Theo på ettårskontroll før han også var på plass.
Så var vi igang. Badevekt var kjøpt inn til for anledningen. Alt ble veid og fordelt. Vi kan ha med oss 2 x 23 kg og 8 kg i håndbagasje.
Christian Aass kom ut med alt filmutstyret og Matias og Christian bondet bra i stuens nordvestre hjørne.
Vi kommer til å savne Christian, men digger allerede lofotværingen fra Beirut.

Packing and teambuilding

Yesterday, we had an extremely effective and valuable packing session at Simen's house. The living room was transformed into a sports shop filled with all the gear we're taking on the expedition. Tormod flew in from Bergen, Sigrid had arrived by train the night before, Matias came from Oslo, and Dag Marius  was soon in place after taking his son Theo for a routine check at the doctors.

We then got cracking. Bathroom scales had been bought in for the occasion. Everything was weighed and shared out. Each of us is allowed 2 x 23 kg of hold luggage and 8 kg of hand luggage.

Christian Aass also arrived with all the filming equipment and he and Matias bonded over in the north west corner of the room.

We're going to miss Christian, but we are already charmed by the Lofoten guy from Beirut.
